About Me
Hello!

My name is Zoe Behrman and I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in Rhetoric and Professional Writing at the University of Cincinnati in Spring 2023. In addition, I received a certificate in Copyediting and Publishing.

As someone who has never wanted to settle down on a favorite subject, I am passionate about the intersection between the arts and the sciences. I believe that all fields can benefit from carefully worded and concise communication. Before discovering the Rhetoric and Professional Writing program, I found myself in classes from Environmental Science to Literature to Astrophysics. All of these subjects were intriguing to me, but I realized what I really wanted to do was communicate these topics to others in the most accessible and artful manner possible.

This realization coupled perfectly with my lifelong love of reading, language, and words; I have always been interested in language and have spent countless hours perusing my favorite works from Hamlet to The Hunger Games. Because of this passion, I am interested in pursuing a career where language stands at the forefront of my tasks, whether it is through technical scientific communication or literary book publishing. I find pouring over a document and perfecting every last detail to be a rewarding and satisfying process, and I take pride in helping others produce the best work possible.

Outside of my academic and professional life, I enjoy reading for fun, playing with my Boston Terriers, and finding local coffee shops to spend a weekend afternoon in.
